Volleyball Playing Experience
I played for 10 years in club and intramural leagues while serving in the Army.
Coaching Experience
I started coaching volleyball in 1993 for men’s intramural league and have 25+ years of coaching girl’s volleyball. Coached girl’s elementary school, middle school, and high school as well as 14U – 18U club. Currently the varsity head coach at Rancho Cotate High School and the 14-1 and 18-1 Aftershock head coach.

Coaching Philosophy
The unified vision of Aftershock Volleyball Club is to create an environment that develops character, builds self-esteem and teaches valuable skill sets, while providing fun through the sport of volleyball. My overarching coaching philosophy is to provide a positive experience that fosters a constructive attitude, pride, and self-esteem and establish a learning environment that encourages and empowers players to develop on and off the volleyball court.

Working with amazing people and helping guide our players in their pursuit of competitive excellence so they can be better on and off the court.
Personal Fact
I was a helicopter instructor pilot in the Army for 20 years.
