Biography

Anna played at Colusa High School and Yuba College before coaching. She has two years of assistant coaching experience with Aftershock and currently coaches both the 7th and 8th grade teams at Healdsburg Junior High.

She completed the USA Volleyball NFHS Coaching Fundamentals course and a Life Coaching course with Landmark Education, which helps her teach young teens how to have good self-esteem and keep a positive outlook when playing. She has a lot of patience with first-time players and excels at breaking down volleyball skills to teach correct form.

What she loves most about coaching is when she can teach a skill that gets applied and the player grows from there. She also loves watching a group of girls come together and become friends from strangers.

Anna has worn many hats during her lifetime: lifeguard, firefighter, car saleswoman, real estate licensee, furniture renter, Sunday school teacher, and property manager for 22 years.
