Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect what you type into two forms and use it to answer you or send you the newsletter. We don't sell it or share it for advertising.

What we collect
- Contact form
- Your name, email, an optional phone number, a topic, and your message. It lands in Craig's inbox as an email he can reply to directly. We don't store it anywhere else.
- Newsletter
- Your email address, nothing else. You get a confirmation email first, and you're on the list only after you click the link in it.
This site doesn't ask for player names, birthdates, or payment details.
Who helps us handle it
- Mailgun
- Delivers our email and holds the newsletter list. It also counts how many copies of each newsletter were delivered; we keep only the totals. We don't track opens or clicks.
- Cloudflare
- Hosts the site, counts page views, and screens our forms for bots. More on both below.
- The reel page shows our public Instagram posts. The photos and videos load from Instagram's servers, so Instagram receives the request, the same as when you open any photo on the web.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Our contact and subscribe forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It runs in the background while you fill out the form, so there is nothing for you to click or solve.
To do that, Cloudflare receives your IP address, a TLS fingerprint, your browser's User-Agent header, and our site key and origin. Cloudflare describes how it handles that data in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't build a profile of you. We don't run Google Analytics or any advertising pixel.
Cookies and storage on your device
- One cookie
- pref-lang, set only if you use the language switcher, so the home page opens in the language you picked. It lasts a year.
- Browser settings
- Dark mode, whether you dismissed the language hint, and your ticks on the tryouts packing list are saved in your browser only. They never leave your device.
- Contact draft
- What you've typed into the contact form stays in your tab until you send it or close the tab.
Unsubscribe or delete your information
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list.
To have your address removed from our list entirely, or to have a message you sent us deleted, email craig@aftershockvolleyball.com. We'll do it and reply to confirm.
Children
This site is for parents and coaches. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a child has sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions about any of this go to Craig.
