We’re Hiring Coaches

Coaching Jobs

You already know how to coach. We give you the structure, the mentorship, and the culture. You just coach.

Tournaments

Who We Want

The coach who notices the quiet player in the back row. The one who shows up with a practice plan, not a wing-it attitude. Someone who takes this seriously enough to prepare, and loose enough that the girls actually want to come back tomorrow.

What You'll Do

If most of this sounds like something you’d do anyway, you’re probably our kind of coach.

01

Develop players

Run structured practices using the club’s core systems. Build game plans that actually move players forward. Give honest, specific feedback after every match and practice.

02

Build culture

You set the tone. No favorites, no drama. Teach competitive drive alongside sportsmanship, and build the kind of environment where a player feels safe to try a new position and fail.

03

Grow the program

Help recruit players and keep them coming back season over season. Partner with other AVC teams on cross-team scrimmages and skill clinics. Share competition successes and team photos for the club website and social media.

04

Show up

Be present and on time for every practice and tournament. This is a commitment, not a favor.

The scoreboard resets. What she learns doesn’t.

Minimum Qualifications

You don’t need to check every box, but the more of these that sound like you, the better.

01 Deep volleyball knowledge and playing or coaching experience
02 Experience coaching girls ages 10–18
03 Strong communication: written, verbal, and the kind that happens in a loud gym
04 Good instincts when things get heated. Parents, players, close calls. You stay calm
05 Ability to work independently and adapt when plans change mid-tournament
06 Reliable transportation and a valid license. Insurance required if you’ll transport players
07 Understanding of how club volleyball works: seasons, brackets, league structure
08 Organization skills to manage rosters, schedules, and parent communication
09 Physically able to attend all practices and scheduled tournaments
10 Fresh ideas welcome. We want coaches who make the program better, not just repeat what’s always been done
