Volleyball Playing Experience
I played 2 years of boys club volleyball starting in 1978. Continued in Men’s club from 1980-1982. I have traveled to both Dallas and Louisville to play in the Men’s 50+ Open Nationals.
Coaching Experience
I first coached volleyball in 1989 at Piner High. I then returned as the freshman and JV coach for Windsor High School from 2005-2008 and then coached varsity from 2009-2019. I started coaching club volleyball in 2004.
Coaching Qualifications
SafeSport, Impact, First Aid/CPR certified.
Coaching Philosophy
Pass on my love of the sport. Knowledge is key to learning. Grow the game.
Athletic/Coaching Awards
I received the high school North Coast Section Coaches Honor Award in 2023.
What do you like best about coaching?
Passing on my love of the sport and giving players an outlet to grow themselves as both players and as a person.
Personal Fact
I love camping and wakeboarding with my wife Belinda. Both my daughters, who played for Aftershock, have also coached for Aftershock.
